Custom 3D prints that don't stop at the printer. Every piece is printed clean, checked for fit, and finished by hand to a fabricator's standard. The Measure of Perfection.
Three kinds of work come off the bench. If it can be modeled and printed, it can probably be made here — and finished properly.
Collectible figures, busts, and display models — the pieces that live on a shelf, not in a drawer.
Wearable props and seasonal pieces — helmets, masks, and Halloween models built for the season.
Parts that have to fit and work, not just look right. Brackets, gears, jigs, and one-off prototypes.
Anyone can press print. The difference is precision — and the finishing work that happens after the machine stops.
The shop is run by a metal fabricator. Measurements get checked, tolerances get respected, and parts that don't fit don't ship. That standard carries over to every print.
Layer lines, support marks, and seams are sanded, filled, and smoothed by hand. You get a clean, finished piece — not a print with the supports snapped off.
Every piece is inspected, test-fitted where it matters, and packed by the same hands that made it. A painted / airbrushed finish is also available on request if you want colour work added.
Orders run through the Etsy shop, and every piece goes through the same four steps.
Choose a design from the Etsy shop, or send a custom request — a figure, a prop, a part you can't buy anymore.
Your piece is printed after you order it, in the material and size the job calls for. No warehouse stock.
Supports come off, surfaces get smoothed by hand, and fit and finish are checked before packing.
Finished pieces are packed to survive the trip and shipped to you with tracking through Etsy.
The kind of work that comes out of this shop — printed clean and finished by hand. Tap any photo to see it up close.
LM Precision 3D is a one-bench custom printing shop in Riverdale Park, Maryland. It's run by a South African-born professional fabricator, now based in Maryland, with eight years of fabrication and welding experience. That's years of work where a part is either right or it's scrap.
That background is the whole point of the shop. Prints here get measured, fitted, and finished the way fabricated parts do, and the display pieces get the same treatment: printed clean and finished by hand before they leave.
It's a small shop on purpose. Every order is printed, finished, inspected, and packed by the same hands — so if it carries the LM name, it passed one person's standard, not a production line's.
The Measure of Perfection.

A character that doesn't exist as a figure yet. A helmet for a costume. A part that broke and isn't sold anymore. The Etsy shop is live now — send a custom request and it's quoted before any printing starts, so you know the price and the timeline up front.
